Sorry. I thought you meant a bow forum on a general hunting site.

No, the Bowsite was filled with anti crossbow little Nazi's. Some I called friends, but, after that, the hate just came thru. It was just sad how another hunter could hate so much just over that one thing.
Lesson learned.

I hate crossbows as much as anyone, but not the guys who use them. And if somebody sat in the cold as you did, you should have been given a congrats from some of them.
I don't suppose you'd want to share the name of the site?

Gonna take a small thermos with me in my pack with some hot tea so at least I have something to drink. Last weekend my water in my pack froze solid. Not only was I cold but I was thirsty! Hot Tea?just when I start to think you may be tuff, you go and say something like that.I think you need to hunt with Bushy this weekend so he can put a shot of bourbon or two in your hot tea and maybe take you t a biker bar for lunch.

Would have earned it MORE with a flinter. Yeah, yeah, but it was an archery only county park that had just been opened to deer hunting in Lehigh County.

WOW!!! What a tip!! Thanks for the link. I've been tying these with 3-X headset and an LED light. My fat, old, and not to good at functioning fingers have a heck of a time doing it. THAT will make it way easier!! And for the tip,....I will never play "spelling police" on your post again!! LMAO2

I just came in the house about half an hour ago from helping my brother butcher a deer he shot behind my house around noon. We usually do the work in his barn, but opted for my garage on this cold afternoon. It's a lot easier to warm things up here.
He lives about a 3/4 of a mile back over the hill from my place and called to say he was going to take a little walk down for a visit if I'd give him a ride back to his house. I heard him shoot about 20 minutes after the call...made me feel kinda wimpy for staying inside. I think I'll get over though.

I'll be inside, making sure the wood stove is filled to capacity.
Tomorrow is the first winter league trap shoot. They haven't fired more than two rounds of trap out there in the past week.
Should be interesting in the morning, when it will be around 5 degrees and windy? They'll have the club house heat cranked up to about 80 degrees again. Last winter they did that and never turned the thermo back to 55 when they left. Four or five days later the tank ran dry, because no one had remembered to have it refilled. That's now my job.
