I thought we could. No bullying. The way I read Dutch is that as long as we kept conversations civil and refrain from personal attacks, name calling etc. I'm happy with or without.

I would like to take this time to thank "The ANYTHING thread", for hitting 100 pages of some of the most meaningless and stupid posts found on the Interweb.

I get the feeling the market (investors) aren't sure what the hell to do! It's not trying to time the market, it's time IN the market that makes you money

I'm up over 28% since Nov. My wife's account up almost 24% in that time. I put trailing stops on some of ours.

I would think that anybody that is diversified is WAYYYY up in that timeframe. Of course, there's the dumbazz Fleapoo, with his 50% Bonds.

We had a couple big Cds over that time @ 5.625%. They were called this past Monday. I would have been further ahead if I had reinvested that money instead of getting the CDs.

I got an IBond when they were at 9%, regretted that, couldn't wait to reinvest that in the market, and did. I just never cared for having my money locked in. Call me weird. When my brother got his inheritance, March of 2020, he was afraid to put it in the market. The world was imploding. I told him this was an almost once in a lifetime event. I put some in, but not what I wanted him to. He's doing ok, that's for sure, but he could have done better

We have a couple Ibonds we bought at 9.625% and gotten rid of yet. They are earning far less than that now. Like the CDs that were called on Monday, with the market up the way it is, I don't know what I feel good about buying with the cash right now..... I know, Don't try to time the market. But I suspect we'll be given a haircut sometime soon.

MREβs and can goods along with ammo might be a good investment too.ππ€
