I believe Biden was POTUS at the time the documents were found in his home. Would that not make it legal for him to have them in his possession? Maybe a sitting pres. could declassify them on the spot? ..... sound like a couple angles a guy like trump would try to work.

That's not what was said what was said is he broke the law but is too incompetent to be tried. Then the next breath he was great during his sotu address. That's called talking out both ends. Is that the same thing as McConnell saying Trump was responsible for Jan 6th and then voting against impeaching him for it? IS it like that? Like that? Swamp rat Mitch? He's one of those politicians you love to quote.

Yeah, but why isn't Biden being charged for having classified documents when he is not authorized to have them. Once again, Biden said "Oops!". Here are the documents. Trump said...."If my brain says they are no longer classified, then they are no longer classified. Then Trump instructed his staff to hide the documents. There's running a red light and pulling over for the cops. Then there's running a red light and while the pull over is attempted you go 120MPH through a residential area, then smash into a house. See the difference? Both cases running a red light. But different responses to it. Lazy excuse on the behalf of Biden.

You should go to the batting cages and practice hitting softball questions.

Rusty, they see the difference. They won't answer it but do everything they can to dance around it.
It's like catching one of my grandkids getting a cookie when they didn't ask. I get every answer except for my question of "Who said you could have that"?

None of this is difficult to see the difference.

It is you that isn't getting my point that Biden was not allowed to have the documents. So with your poor analogy I added that Biden would be driving illegally.
Like having documents illegally.
It's not difficult to see the difference between legally having documents and illegally having documents.

Sifting thru all the BS here's the difference.....pretty simple. Trump was indicted on 37 Criminal Felony Counts. Biden was NOT indicted per findings of an originally Trump appointed DOJ Special Counsel Robert Hur. Really nothing to spin!! LOL

If Biden was not legally allowed to have classified documents why were there no charges brought up?

OMG……you have apparently did not read Trumps indictment!! This will be my final time to hopefully clarify. TRUMP CONTINUALLY OBSTRUCTED the investigation. That alone warrants prison time per 18USC Section 1512(k). BIDEN DID NOT….he fully cooperated i.e., NO OBSTRUCTION!! All of this was clearly spelled out BOTH in Trumps indictment plus in Special Counsel Hurs report.

So leaving classified documents in a garage where Hunter and all his buddies had total access to them is just fine. You don't understand that Biden WAS NOT AUTHORIZED (If you insist on using caps) to have documents in the first place. Forget about Trump for a minute if you can, I doubt you will be able to. He was indicted for having classified documents and I get that. BUT WHY WASN'T BIDEN (again with the caps)? To use one of the bogus analogy's from before. If I kill someone and turn in the body should I not be charged?

Who said Biden did not have authority to possess the documents?
And how do you know Hunter had access to them or if he even knew they were there?

Trump is charged with retaining about 100 national defense documents dealing with secrets such as defense and weapons capabilities of U.S. and foreign countries, and U.S. nuclear programs, and then conspiring to hide them at his club Mar-a-Lago in Florida is part of the difference. I did some digging and found this. I would say better to hide it in his club that has protection (not saying that is right or legal but better) than in his garage for all to see. Not the travel schedules that you thought. To beat a dead horse, I will say that Biden had no legal authority to take them in the first place. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden “willfully” retained and disclosed highly classified materials when he was a private citizen, including documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan and other sensitive national security matters, according to a Justice Department report that nonetheless says no criminal charges are warranted for him or anyone else.

“Hide it in his club is better”
Better for who? The Chinese government who paid $5-mil during his tenure for easy access?
Did the Chinese pay to stay in Biden’s garage?
