Yep, it's like vegetarians if only they knew how much stuff they use everyday consists of lard from animals. My answer to Vegans is "Plants have feelings too" That one guy did a study on plants by placing two plants next to each other and smashed one to bits and took I guess electrical impulses off of the one next to it and claimed that it seemed to know the guy was murdering his plant brother. lol never know. My great grandmother would take lard and make soap out of it and it always seemed like it was the best soap out there. Lard in their day was today''s wd40!

Have you seen the raping of land that is done in the mining of gold? Other than a store of wealth and the vanity of those who love jewelry, there are very few uses for it that there are not better metals. Actually gold is used heavily in electronics and controls. Silver is in every breaker in your panel. Coal is used more then what people see it's in your tires rubbers and many other uses. Coal isn't going away. China is increasing Coal plants just do they can make your solar panels. Those solar panels are the worst thing someone can put on their roofs. It doesn't allow your roof the dry. Think of it as plastic over cement to keep the moisture in so it doesn't dry to quickly. It gets on the tarp then condensates back onto the roof. Silver has many industrial uses and 50-70% is used that way. But only about 10-12% of newly mined and recycled gold is used in industrial applications, & 78% is used to make jewelry.

And most gold jewelry is shipped to India. In India gold is considered a sign of wealth.....ergo the more you have....the more your social status. And considering there's a billion people in India, lots of gold goes there.
