It was the only one I was aware of.It was on the right if you were coming from Meshoppen. The name will eventually come to me. It's called table rock now, not sure if that was it when you remember it ? got a friend looking into it, important questions like this need answers. Table Rock known locally as the "Tiltin Hiltin." Trail Inn is gone. It is now Burks gun shop and indoor shooting range....currently under construction.

Was she a perty, sandy blonde gal ? Meaner-n-a-rattler though ? I may have married her in 1987. I think she did remarry in about 87 or 88 but he was a Lancaster fellow. Not very mean and fair to midland purty but the rest ain't proper social media stuff.

I don't think I could patronize a place called the high knob pub.Sounds like a gay establishment to me. High Knob overlook is a popular tourist place. A picture of my kid from the late 1970's: Somewhere I have another picture of me and my brother in the 1950's....?

What's the name of the bar that used to be on main street in Laceyville?I started using my brothers fishing license as ID when I was 18 and they always served me lol. That was a classy joint. Was it the Tombstone? Eva's is on main st. Laceyville. Tombstone Inn is in Lovelton as is the Lovelton Hotel. Tombstone kitchen is a hog sty though, but they do a nice trade.

That was a nice business before the bar business went downhill. I think it's a tough sell now.

We stopped and had Lunch there couple months ago. Good food and the place was fairly busy. Being less than 2 miles from camp I get there mebbie 10 times each year & always had good food. Pat Hobbs( High Knob Inn owner) sister Cindy is new owner of Hillsgrove Country store(renamed as McCartys Mercantile) buying it from Dave Strack who bought it from Dennis Renninger who bought it from the Millers who bought it from Brongs.......which covers bout 50-60 years of history. Think Cindy still has a piece in HKI's ownership....not sure never discuss business with locals!! I love heavily supporting the locals including our great fire company in Hillsgrove!! Be in Sully shortly for some flintin.
