Laroche had recently reported on their joint efforts to kill/test those deer, as a means of sampling for CWD in that area.

Night vision videos taken while driving around the area, were shown at the BOC meeting last week, indicating there were fairly high numbers of deer in that general area.

In my opinion, killin the deer will not stop the problem. The prions will remain in the ground no matter how many deer you kill. Killin the target instead of the culprit doesn't make sense.
