The other year, I ordered some Sierra 6.5 bullets. They were on backorder for a year until Midway just cancelled the order.
Today, I went on Midway, and they were available.
Ordered them. Should last me the rest of my life, with the number of deer I shoot. LOL

My 6.5 Swede (Savage chambered) likes the Hornadys. I don't know how the Sierra's would do...I don't think I tried 'em. But....for deer hunting now I "switched" back to my very first rifle that I bot for deer hunting. I use my Winchester Model 88 in .308. For the amount of time I spend in the woods actually hunting in rifle season, the Winchester is just fine. It will put a Hornady 150gr. bullet 3 shots in one ragged hole at 100 yards. And hey....when do I ever shoot farther than that in Pa.?
My Savage\Swede is used for long range (1,000 yard) target. Well.....I was doing that with a former friend. Former. Not a great loss. Perhaps not even a small one. More like the unloading of a burden.
