Welcome! I got into waterfowl about 5 years ago. Be careful! Its an addictive hobby haha. I started out just hunting spoonbills and teal with a maverick 88 and some cheap waders from academy over the rio grand when i lived in el paso. Fast forward 5 years and ive invested in a benelli nova over 100 decoys a boat 1200 gram waders and a reteriver and my list goes on haha. The hardest part is waking up and choosing to go for deer or duck!

I'm new here too. I'm 64 years old and retired. I've been hunting since 1965. I live and hunted in Washington County all my life. I've also hunted in all of the surrounding counties. I have a beautiful place up in Elk County, where I've hunted deer for over 40 years. I've joined this forum to see what other Pennsylvania sportsman feel about what's happened to the hunting and fishing in our state. I hope things improve, but the way I see it unless we all ban together and become a driving political force things will only continue to decline. I truly hope I'm wrong.

Welcome all.. I grew up in Washington county just north west of the intersection of I70 and I79. My Dad at 98 is still alive and doing well. My one and only Sister lives in Washington. I have been in Maryland since 1962 after graduating from Trinity High School. I used to go to Elk county many years ago. We stayed at a camp on Mill Creek just out of Ridgway. I still like going up there once in a while just to enjoy the "big woods". Here's an old buck I killed along Mill Creek in 1966. Attachment Deleted
