Whats your brand of rifle scope looking to replace one and wondering what is the best brand at a decent price. I like bushnell they have a good scope at a cheaper price it's what I have on my 30-06. I think I am going to look into the Nikon brand any tips?

Pay close attention to the lens coatings IIRC fully coated multicoated is the way to go.......has the clearest view and the most light gathering properties

I've always been a Leupold person, but after having bought a nice set of Bushnell bino's, I'd give them a look when buying a scope.

I have a few Bushnell elite's and they're nice scopes for the money.Leupolds and pretty much the standard for me but I also have a couple of Sightrons and they're also excellent scopes for the money.

IMO, the Nikon Prostaff series is tough to beat for those on a budget(less than $200). I have several of the prostaffs and really like them. Up from there I prefer Nikon Monarchs over Leupolds as I believe the glass is better.

Bushnell Elite is the one that's impressed me lately.

I think the competition among the optics manufacturers has really heated up. Good news for the consumer, but also tough to make a decision.
I think that any scope you pay more than about $300 for is going to be pretty good. It might not be a Swarovski, but for most people you would need incredibly good eyes to tell the difference.
I don't have the kind of budget to support Zeiss or Swarovski, I usually lean towards Nikon or Leopold, but I have a Bushnell that is really good. And Redfields are now owned by Leopold and looks to be really good.
Probably if I were in the market, I would watch the major retailers for a sale or look on Amazon.
Good Luck!

I second that. The Bushnell Elite line(3200,4200) are fine sopes. Have a 3200 & is fine Jap glass/construction.
