Get in touch with your senators & reps and ask them to support the Sportsman's Act of 2012 (S. 3525). It's a slew of pro-sportsman legislation including this very issue. You can use this to email them: secure3.convio.net/trcp/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=245Included in this pro-sportsmen's package of bills is the Hunting, Fishing and Recreational Shooting Protection Act, which would clarify that ammunition is excluded from regulation by the Environmental Protection Agency under the Toxic Substances Control Act. Anti-hunting groups are suing the EPA to force a ban on traditional ammunition made with lead components. Such a ban would devastate hunting and shooting sports participation and conservation funding, and would drive up the price of ammunition.

I should be good for awhile since I have a fair stockpile of components and loaded ammo.

I saw a lot of componets still on the shelf of a local gun shop yesterday but one never knows how long they will last.
Right now you have to show your drivers license for black powder so they can record who bought what but not "modern powders. The current administration and its supports would love to change that if they possibly can, ammo is a back door to gun control and you can bet they will try any angle they can to stop our sport.
