My one acre food plot, for the first time in years, has no clover in it, so, we ran the disc over it this weekend, hoping to disrupt the weeds that were coming up. We are getting it ready to put soybeans and sunflowers in for the summer/fall.
Also hope to sow brassica in with the beans later in the year, as well as some rye, for next spring.

Going to try and get a few pair trees planted in the next couple weeks. Waiting for a clear change in the weather. Last 3 years been apple and chestnut trees. Not a lot of them, but try to get 3 or 4 a year in. Already frost seeded the clover, which I do every year around my pond. Just try to get some "new" clover to take each year. Finished aerating all around the pond (and whole yard) last night.

Does look like a change in the weather up here maybe next week? Probably still a couple weeks before you dare to plant the beans. Do you have a planter, or a drill ?

I'm going to broadcast them and disc them in. Won't plant until Memorial Day.
