After a couple good days, it will be too cold again for a week. It is looking like a bad February for tapping. Been running mostly a few degrees below normal for weeks now.

The snow is so deep and now crusted with a hard coat of ice only the big tractors will go through it, walking is impossible and we are looking at wind chills 15-20 below this afternoon.
I'm thinking its gonna be a reloading sorta day.
