Found some coral berry plants around my fence rows. Read that they attract deer also that they are toxic to mammals. If they are toxic I would just soon get rid of them

The mild toxin of coralberry shrubs also has mild sedation properties and, as such, the berries have been harvested by Native Americans and used as a treatment for eye pain.
Nature's way of medicine for ailing deer?
