At our club picnic the other day, the club President had his flyrod along and was catching a bunch of bluegills. He was having a blast. When he was done, I asked him if I could try his rod out. One of the sweetest flyrods anyone ever created. What was left of the wooly bugger wasn't much, but I did manage to land a few bluegills. JohnS was kind enough, from the peanut gallery, offer his instructional comments as to my casting abilities. LOL But, it had been a long time since flyfishing for 'gills, and it turned out to be a blast, despite all the comments from onlookers......

I use to tie my own flies/poppers many years ago targeting BG's & Smallies. Such action offers an excitement second to none for sure! Neat JohnS even offered in some of his expertise!!
