I am looking to get more deer behind my dad's house to stay and visit land I can hunt more. I was thinking about planting 2 or 3 apple trees to help coax the deer over. What should I look for?

You can try semi dwarf, but the bears like tocrawl up in them and break branches off.
I have a few in Potter, not sure I'd do it again.

Plant pear trees, You can get them from The wild turkey federation, they don't require all the pruning and care an apple tree does, and the deer love them.

I won't have to worry about bears where these are going. I think two were spotted in the area in the last 25 years. How much do they sell the pear trees?
