BB, I have purchased my parts from Track of the wolf. My barrel is a Green Mt. that I purchased as a "drop in replacement" for my T\C Hawken. This barrel has a 1-70 twist and it is incredibly accurate, and consistently accurate. I believe it's so consistent because of the deep rifling that GM has cut into it. I know I can shoot at least 6 rounds from it before I have to run a quick alcohol patch down it to clear out BP residue. BTW, the GM barrel came blued from the factory, so all of my furniture will be blued. No brass at all. I'm not a fan of brass...nor patch boxes. Just a personal preference. I like to look at 'em on other rifles...but I still like the one's without a patch box.

Dave it would be sweet if you kept a materials list and posted it or PM it to me so I could build no also, as I would have no idea where or what to order to build a like rifle. I really would love to build one, thanks.

Jim, An "easy" way to do this would be to buy the Track of the Wolf "kit" parts set like this one: Leman rifle parts kit rifleOr you can look at Track of the Wolf's many parts list set's they offer here: Track of the Wolf Parts List for FlintsOf course, you don't have to buy all of their parts, and you can change....say Butt Plates if you don't like the style of the one they have. However, keep in mind that the ones they offer on the kit guns are very "period correct" for the type of gun build you are making. OTOH, I wasn't a fan of the Leman butt plate, so I went for a butt plate that had a more smooth of a curve and not the deep top curl that TOTW shows on their kit. Dave

When your at that site, you can "click" those "view" tabs and get a look at the rifle from different angles. I like that. Now, the one's in the link you have they show a cal lock. But you can also order the lock in flint to make it a Pa hunter during flint season if you want.
