While I was out attempting to in-line a doe last week, I was sitting in my little chair and right after day-break, I kept hearing ma-ma bird talking to (I believe) one of her spring hatchling's. So, I just took out my I-phone and recorded this. Turn up your volume and listen to hear the lee-kee. I love the sound of "Turkey talk". I never got the birds on video…just the sounds. Dave

Neat! Sometimes, when you can't find the flock in the woods, a Kee-Kee call is all you need. Mothers like to know where their children are and they just can't resist investigating a call for help to locate a lost child.

Yes. I agree. In the fall the Kee-Kee is one of my most used calls. Just use it, remain motionless, and soon enough my "turkey rice" soup of the near future will rustle it's way thru the leaves!!!

I only will be out 3 days this year hunting from camp. Leavin next Sunday to hunt Mon & Tues then get the last day in before bear season. L would Would love to take a full week but work/family stuff gets in the way. Likely will carry the 22 mag this season to combo with a lil bushytail huntin.
