Romney wins debates and election... Easily.
The only slide I see is the mainstream media bias slithering closer to the ground each and every day.
free tip to you Loggy.... Don't believe everything you read in the paper, hear on the radio or see on your TV. This is what got America into the mess we currently find ourselves in today. You'll thank me later.

Ok, what will you say when Obama wins? Will you still say the polls were wrong?
ya know, when I see a 2-4 point race, thats one thing, but when the key swing, must win, states are now a 10 point spread, then I say that is significant.
This will be another election that the Republicans have lost, not an election that the Dems won.

I don't believe for a minute the sudden 10-12 point swings.
And if Obama wins.... I'll simply kiss the America I used to know and love goodbye.

Please explain how the Republicans would be responsible for the loss instead of the Dems responsible for the win?

Romney generally was behind 3-5 points. I think his comments that were caught on tape last week were just the last straw for many people. Thats all.

Please explain how the Republicans would be responsible for the loss instead of the Dems responsible for the win? The Republicans are running against a weak candidate. All they hat to do, once again, was run a leader that has some fire in his belly, and they would have won. They had no such canidate, once again. Therefore, they will lose and election thru default. Keep one thing in mind, when people talk of the 47%, there are a heck of a lot of senior citizens, that have worked hard all their lives, and live mostly on SS, that are included in that 47%. When people complain about the 47% not paying taxes, THOSE SENIORS PAID TAXES AND WORKED HARD ALL THEIR LIVES ONLY TO HAVE PEOPLE NOW LOOK DOWN THEIR NOSES AT THEM. Plus, everyone pays some tax in this country. These folks that don't pay federal taxes are just using the tax code, as it is written, the same as Romney does when he ends up paying 14% on millions of income. So, whats the difference? We all use the code as it's written to reduce taxes we pay. ITS LEGAL, yet, the 47% have become scapegoats. Pathetic. I'll vote for Romney, if I vote, but I'll be holding my nose, once again.

So those comments did it huh? Isn't it something, these comments make headlines, but the comments from our current Preseident from the last four years go unchecked and he does not get held accountable.
Now that's pathetic.

Tell me, why would you alienate people who MAY be on the fence, and who have worked all their lives and paid taxes, then lump them in with a "group" that these days are talke about with derision?
Poor strategy..........
Ya know, my Dad lives very comforatbly in retirement. We have similar incomes. I can tell you, that while he isn't a art of the 47%, his taxes on that income are darned small in comparision to mine.
In retirement, it doesn't take much to become part of the 47% apparently. At 84 year old, my Dad is STILL saving money and investing. Why? Because he has more than he needs, and still barely pays taxes.....
Think about it.
I think next time I see him, I'll call him an "almost 47 percenter". LOL

One thing for sure--After Pres Obamas next term the Republicans will take back the White House in 2016--The Dem have no-one that can compete with the popularity of the the big three that are already hanging around Iowa.

I think once Obama starts his 2012-2016 term we will witness a miraculous tone of "working together" by the 2 parties which will be good for our country in the long run!!

The modern Roman Empire is crumbling.. and the citizens are whining about NFL referees and standing in line for their free cell phones.. The 47% comment once again has been taken completely out of context by the media. Mitt was stating a fact. The fact is regardless of how you get your Govt assistance when the media blatantly misleads the sheeple into believing the evil Republicans are going to stop there handouts they will vote for whoever is running on the Democrat ticket. The Dems could win with almost anybody.. Al Gore, Kerry, Bloomberg, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Bill Maher, Rev Jackson, and probably even Marion Barry.. Yes, SOME of those people who are in that number are dependent on the Govt for SS and Medicare. But, yes they did contribute to the fund and pay medicare insurance premiums now.. most of them. But there are even more in that number who haven't worked a lick in their lives and are dependent and expect the Govt to send them a check each month. If they are not yet convicted felons they will cast a vote for Obama. And then, the seniors who are on SS and Medicare and belong to AARP are also going to vote for Obama. AARP has become such a left leaning organization over the last couple decades it is embarassing. And AARP publications are about as left leaning as MSNBC in their magazine articles and newsletters. So, considering that 75% of the population could not even tell you who is running for POTUS besides Obama, electing anybody but Obama is a challenge.

Dutch, get of the 14% tax on millions, you're comparing apples and oranges. Romney doesn't get a paycheck, his income comes from investments...and it was proven last week that he's been overpaying his taxes. He's also been giving away 12% to 14% to charity for many many years. Why do you play the class warfare game?

I think the best part of the debates is how the respective candidate can handle those off the script situations.
