OYSTERS IN SHELL, 1/2 DOZ OYSTER LIQUOR HEAVY CREAM PERNOD SPINACH BREAD CRUMBS FINELY DICED BACON EGG YOLK BUTTER TEA SPOON FINELY DICED SHALLOTS HALF TEASPOON FRESH CHOPPED PARSLEY DASH HOT SAUCE
OPEN OYSTERS AND REMOVE FROM SHELL, RESERVE THE LIQUOR STRAIN LIQUOR INTO SAUCE PAN AND GENTLY HEAT PLACE OYSTERS IN SAUCE PAN AND COOK ON BOTH SIDES FOR JUST SECONDS REMOVE OYSTERS FROM PAN AND PLACE IN A BOWL ADD FINELY SHALLOTS TO LIQUOR AND STIR IN HEAVY CREAM, ABOUT I/2 CP,AND KEEP WARM THEN: COOK SPINACH, SQUEEZE OUT AS MUCH WATER AS POSSIBLE AND ROUGHLY CHOP, AND PLACE IN BOWL THEN, STIR IN FINELY CHOPPED PARSLEY INTO THE SPINACH AND MIX WELL, THEN MIX SMALL AMOUNT OF SAUCE INTO SPINACH AND MIX WELL AND PLACE ABOUT A TEASPOON OF THE SPINACH MIXTURE IN THE 6 OYSTER SHELLS, ADD DASH OF PERNOT TO SAUCE IN PAN THEN STIR IN EGG YOLK, STIR IN DASH OF HOT SAUCE AND KEEP WARM
PLACE VERY FINELY DICED BACON TO A SKILLET AND FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN, THEN STIR IN BREAD CRUMBS AND STIR AROUND WELL ABSORBING BACON GREASE PLACE THE OYSTERS ON TOP OF THE SPINACH MIXTURE IN THE SHELL THEN COVER IN SAUCE SPRINKLE BREAD CRUMB AND BACON MIXTURE ON TOP OF SAUCE PLACE IN BAKING DISH OR PAN ON TOP OF ROCK SALT AND PLACE UNDER BROILER TILL BREAD CRUMBS ARE BROWN.

I like a raw oyster with a lot of horseradish myself. Wash it down with an Iron City, and don't hang out with me in the morning.

Dont get much better than a fresh shucked raw oyster slidin down but I prefer an ice cold Bud vs dat Iron City!! Could be a factor contributing to your "morning after" event!!
