My open sights are fixed. I'm using the same ammo I've had for years. If I miss......it's not the gun!!!

On one of my turkey hunting forums these guys were expounding on their 98 yard kills with TSS and someone posted this picture. I'm old fashioned, I don't use TSS. I try to call them in close enough to club them. That's the sport in it...not just killing.

I try to call them in close enough to club them. That's the sport in it...not just killing. I'm old fashioned too but love what TSS shot provides in an effective/hard hitting killing pattern. I also try to call them in close enough to club them but sometimes the club needs a lil extension!! If it were just about the "killing" I would of bagged hunting the elusive turkey many years ago!! lol

And you don't have to deal with that slimy sponge when cleaning a smelly bird.--we must look for the positive in everything that happens to us as hunters.

I use gold old #5 or 6 lead when I use the shotgun.
