Maybe some things are left to not be seen all over the internet but it is real and what all hunters struggle with. Certainly makes one more aware of the suffering that animals undergo when bad shots happen. Two bucks on the same property both gut shot. The one is still living after 40 hours........ I have to wonder why the guy labels the video "guts hanging out"? There are but man, is it necessary to title the video that way.

Gut shots happen but are a horrendous way for deer to die.I've had it happen a few times over the past 40 years and even though I revovered every deer, always considered the hunt a fail.Quite honestly, when I see people celebrating after recovering a gut shot deer,it makes me think bad thoughts about that person.

Yep. This video, while it doesn't include celebration, is highlighting the suffering which seems just as bad. Just hard to watch. Not sure why he feels the need to have the zoomed in shots of the suffering make it into the final video. During the recovery it is certainly important to see where the injury is, but this footage is not for the faint of heart and really hurts our sport, I believe.

Well,it's one huge negatives that the commercialization of hunting has brought us.If a deer isn't down within seconds,it's not a successful hunt for me,period.I watched a youtube video of some pro hunting wannabe celebrity where he advocated shooting deer way back with his huge mechanical to avoid the shoulder.Hitting em in the guts was no issue with him.I forget the Jack wagon's name but I'd know it if someone brought it up.I've seen these professionals ass clown literally cry when someone find the deer months later. They don't give a rip about the deer, just the attention.

Honestly Gene, there's thousands of gut shot deer every year and it does hurt the sport, whether people see it or not.Hunters need to do mucch, much, much better but they don't.

That's not a good look for hunters for sure. What is the point of showing that. They should take it down. A while back, I'm pretty certain it was Ten Point, had a pic on their website with a deer that was arrowed through it's head. I sent them a nice note just letting them know it was a bad image. Turns out they didn't realize it was there and they took it down, said thank you for making them aware and sent me a t-shirt. These are the things that can turn the 80% of the general population that doesn't care if we hunt or not against us.

Way too many guys and girls out there that don't care too much about the nature of their shots or making the best shots possible. I understand mistakes and bad things can happen to everyone but we should all do the best we can to minimize them.

What is shown is real and a part of hunting at times. Just hate to see it but maybe seeing it up close and personal like that makes me work harder to make sure my shots are the best they can be.

I understand that from a hunters perspective. I just don't think it's good for anyone else to see it. They can keep it in their own group and share with each other.

THE WASTING PART DOESN'T BOTHER ME AS NOTHING REALLY GET'S WASTED IN NATURE.The suffering part is what bothers me

He is simply doing it for clicks and nothing more. I have watched alot of his videos. Does a nice job but he is good for trying clickbait. Like you said though there is some things better off not being shown. My buck that I filmed this year, I spine shot and let's just say that the follow-up shots (yes plural) just didn't go well. Not intentional, but it happened. I did get it done, but didn't feel the need to show that even though it may have gotten views.
