..the last of venison bacon. It's a very fine treat I've been making for about six years now. Couple other tasty by-products I make as a result of a tag filled, too:) Just picked up a sample of venison scrapple at the place of the guy does my smoking for me. I left samples of the bacon for them all to try....and they decided to try making scrapple. It's purty durn good

I had venison scrapple madein the 2011 season, it is hard to tell from pork scrapple. My butcher gave me a poiund of venison bacon this year to try, he gave some to all his regular customers. It was great, I am considering having some made this year.

Vegetarian: Old Indian word for bad hunter? I do have a goodly amount left, primarily due to the trip to South Carolina. Some bear meat also.

I have some left, the wife pulled out some ground this morning. I gave a bunch to my sister this year. Her hubby was one of those guys the Westmoreland "Heart Specialist" mangled up his arteries with installing 7 (yes, seven) stints instead of just doing a bypass. He can't work (He was a head managing cook for large institutional kitchens (Hospitals, Retirement homes, ext) which requires you to be on your feet, and moving big post of cooked food. Tough to do with a screwed up ticker.
Denied for SSDI of course. Lawsuit? Yeah, prolly see that in another 8 years....if he makes it that long.

Boy, did have 3 monsters in at 15 yds, but no shot. That made my season, along with a bear bedding down 20 yds away. This year will be different. ;D
