Bought this to play around with and maybe try to kill some squirrels. Henry Mares Leg .22LR. Has a 12.9" barrel and is considered a pistol. Will say that Henry makes a smooth action gun. Holds 10 shells. Going to see if I can get good this summer with open sights. Really don't want to put a scope on it, but may if I think I need to.  |

If they weren't so much money, I would buy one of these leg holsters just to walk around with it. I opted to go for a shoulder holster as it is more practical and will protect the gun while hunting.  |

I have to agree with Larry and bushy. Get the leg holster! Then wear it when you get groceries or to the hardware store. Just do it!

Curious....what's a holster like that go for? Looking online the cheap leather ones are about $150 and then I saw some as high as $600. I think the one posted was around $400. Not cheap. LOL. Pretty cool looking though. |
