For the past week, I've been using a 4 gallon Solo backpack sprayer, with 1.5 ounces of 2,4,D, per gallon of water, to kill the mile a minute that is invading the hedgerows at our sportsmans club.
Having many other maintenece items to do, and being that is was to hot to work, I did not notice how much we had. Lots.
The sprayer is the ticket for this work. Plus, the MAM is easily killed with the 2,4,D. Had to get ahead of it before the seeds matured, and I may have been to late, but I know that next year we need to keep on top of this invasive.
I have used the backpack sprayer for lots of killing missions, and am glad I have one. Very versatile and a heck of a lot better than using one of those pump up sprayers.

Next March or early April, spray Oust xp on the area you just sprayed as I am sure there is still seed in the bank.

Oust. OUCH.
Thankfully, I know a guy who knows where I can buy it by the ounce.
