Nice video, Cspot. I'd sooner watch you than the shows on the outdoor channel. Do you never take any home? Catfish is one of the few fish I keep to eat. I would think they'd be even better from that cold water. Thanks for posting- hope to see more.

I usually like the ones around 5lb or so.

OUTSTANDING job CS!! Man that Gopro you got sure does a great job for sure.
Watched every minute of your video. What a beautiful sunrise there!! That nice 10lb channel was the top end of size that I would love to fillet of course I love mostly all fish but cold water fried channels are near the top. When I was into catfishing lower Susquehanna below Conowingo Hydo Plant.... I used those torpedo lead wired bottom bouncers which function same as the lead tube type you were using. Sure reduces snags vs a simple bottom sinker.
Love seeing some are still into this kinda stuff!!
Thanks for sharing this CS...look forward to more!!

That lake is pretty clean so if I keep fish it is usually from there. Those tubing sinkers don't hang up very easily but occasionally they will and I have to breakoff. I attach them with a 18lb zip tie so that I can break the zip tie and I will get back the rest of my rig most of the time. The Gopro does do a nice job. I am still trying to figure them out. I messed around with a couple of external mics and that is why in the middle the audio was lower as I switched the mic. At the beginning and the end was the mic that I like the best and I am going to stick with it.

I like that zip tie pointer!! Before keeping my boat in VA when I kept at home....this is the time of year I started fishing for cats below the Conowingo Hydro Plant on the Lower Susquehanna. My Dad introduced me to early season catfishing when I was a kid. I need another boat!!
