The Front-man of Procol Harum, Gary Brooker, passed away this past Saturday ? 76 yrs old. He was an ENORMOUS Fly-Fisherman, and I believe I read a European Champion at some point in his life. He owned some fly shops, and actually got Eric Clapton into becoming a dedicated Fly-Fisherman. www.procolharum.com/gb-film-fish3.htmI know the late Cory Wells, of Three Dog Night, was a huge Fly-Fisherman also. Spending much time fishing charity events, and with many veterans. I believe he fished Spring Creek at a veteran event ? I'm always sorta impressed to learn that superstars like this, share some same passions as we mortals do in life. Let's face it, their lives are somewhat busier than our schedules, lol. It was said, that G. Brooker was so obsessed with Fly-Fishing, that he pretty much dropped everything else to have at it.

"Light Fandango"... sounds like he missed the boat on the naming of a popular fly ?
If they ignore the Light Cahill, try the Light Fandango.

Can't say "Whiter Shades of Pale" was all the rage for me when it was released. I was 4. I guess I could have hopped around the kitchen to it since it was so "upbeat", but don't recollect ? But, Ma Kettle probably had some Polka station on the radiator instead.
