I renewed by boat registration on 12/21. Haven't received it yet. Can you go online and check if it was issued? Maybe the USPS lost it?

My old one is still valid till march anyway so not worried about it. Not sure why it takes that long to process though.

I always order my PA Boat Registration online from PF&BC and always have in hand within a week give or take a few days. Same goes for for my Boat's Bay Sport License from MD DNR.

Did my PA Boat Registration online 1/29/22 and still awaiting after 24 days for boat license sticker. Did MD Coastal Bay Sport Boat License same day....received boat decal/sticker 2/3/22 in 6 days. Guess USPS service from Annapolis, MD to PA is a lil faster than from Harrisburg? lol

Mebby I posted this before, but this year I applied for classic plates for my wife's 'Stang. To do that, I had to send in the original title. Well, after some postal snafu's we received a new owners card, and classic plates.
But no new title. I'm sitting on hold waiting to ask what's up?

Received PA Boat registration & boat decal today. Looks like it was redesigned & much larger than prior sticker issued 2 years ago.....possible reason for delay?? My boat's currently in VA so can't compare. Be there in 2 weeks to do some boat trailer maintenance & open-up place.

Last Fall, I sent for the Antique plate for my Harley. Initially sent a copy of my title. They sent it back stating they wanted my original. I hated to send the original, but did. Took a longgggg tie, but they sent the Antique plate. They sent the title back separately, and it took a good bit longer.
I'm thinking different departments handling different things, so they do not coordinate. Par for the course.

FYi, better perks if you can get the Antique Plates. No Yearly Registration. No Yearly Inspection. No real driving limitations.

IIRC you can't drive an "Antique" plated vehicle after dark.
And today I got the new title. I kept a copy of the old title....and like fleroo said, I too hated to part with the original title.

Mmmmmmmm, you could be right ? Lemme check. If you are, I probably said screw it, catch me if you can. Edit:6. Inspection Classic and collectible vehicles are subject to annual vehicle safety inspection. Antique vehicles operated exclusively between sunrise and sunset are exempt from the normal lighting requirements of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code, but must have their original lighting equipment. Antique vehicles are not subject to the annual vehicle safety inspection. Antique, classic and collectible vehicles are not subject to emissions inspection. Sooooo, I'm trying to figure out if that (Bold) means Antiques are exempt IF they have original lighting ? I may need my cyber-pal limbernoodle to weigh in. He knows EVERYTHING ! The Antique "perk" over Classic, is the No Inspection Required.

Like you I thought it was larger. Must just be the redesign.

You're probably right CS.....just redesigned with the LARGE 24 number makes it look larger.. Seems so much larger than my MD DNR Chesapeake/Coastal Boat License decal.

You have to have it registered in Maryland? I thought that if you had it in one state you are good. Or is that because you have it docked down there so much?

You have to have it registered in Maryland? I thought that if you had it in one state you are good. Or is that because you have it docked down there so much? The MD Boat Decal is an Annual Bay & Coastal Fishing License. It has bay & coastal fishing license reciprocity between MD & VA. Anyone in my boat doesn't need to buy a saltwater fishing license. Covers both recreational crabbing & fishing. It also provides one complimentary onshore fishing license for license buyer. Runs $50/year.
