Does anyone make a reliable trail cam that last more than a couple of years?Last weekend I went to put two out and the one just kept blinking.I put the other one out and it took 1260 pictures of nothing lol.I did buy Jordan a Lone wolf camera at the Harrisburg show so we'll see how that works.

I have had nothing but bad luck with every camera I have bought. Cuddeback. Stealth. Moultrie. Covert. Of course, I didn't spend a ton of money on my cameras.

I have several, (14 I think), of 3 or 4 different brands that are 10 - 16 years and still working. All cheapies but none take a decent night picture and some won't hold the date and time as set, some I need a tweezer to get the card out. An acquaintance gets awesome night videos and crystal clear pictures but she spends $225+ per camera. Seems I got what I paid for.

I bought some cheap Moultries last year, A 40s, I think. Trigger is way to sensitive, so, I get 1000s of blanks.
Whip just bought two Moultrie cell cams that seem to be giving great pics.
I'm tempted

I'm finally gonna break down and buy another trail cam. Like I previously said....my Moultrie is about 12YO and still chunking along. I'm looking at the Moultrie X-6000. It's $120 and will send pics to my cell phone. Anyone know of bad about 'em?

The ones that send pics to your phone have really come down in price. They are reasonable now.

Well....I dunno if I made the "right choice" but I have the Moultrie 7000i being shipped to me. I've read some of the reviews which state it's very sensitive and you could get like 900 pics in two days of "nothing in the pic." OUCH!!
Well, apparently I can adjust the sensitivity to "Low" and in some cases people complained and some didn't.
I have a 30 day return on the camera so if it gives me to much grief......back it will go!!

I have a primos, and Moultrie. Moultrie started last year taking 3,000 pictures just because the sun moved. It was great up until then.

My oldie but goodie Moultrie camera caught this guy sneaking across a section of my backyard. See....even my trail cam's take fuzzy shots!! I can't count the points but I'm guessing maybe 6....could be 8. This is the first time all summer I've seen this guy. He must be making rounds early.

I recently bought 2 Tactacam Reveals for $99 each and pics are sent to my phone via an app. This seems to be the hot cell cam right now as they are new but hard to find, pretty happy with them so far. Still have one Moultrie that is a few years old going too. Pic quality isn't great but gets the job done.

Lemme know if you see him.....heck...your only 1/4 mile from me. I'm betting you will see this guy in that farm adjacent to you.

I'm done with expensive trail cams. I bought two "Wosoda" cheapies a couple of weeks ago. When they arrived they had "Terra" name on them. I haven't checked the pictures yet but the reviews were all positive. We were at the gun shop yesterday and much to my surprise the wife went and picked a trail cam off the display and said; "I want to put my own camera up." She always debates my choices of where I put them, so now she has her own.

I've seen a few his size so maybe. The soybeans are turning yellow on that farm so the deer aren't out in them much now. I go down Rowe every morning and see a lot of deer and turkeys along the road. You have to keep you head on a swivel driving down there between the deer and the people driving too fast.

The Tactacam Reveal is the hot camera right now. I bought one a few months back. Plug and play right out of the box. It comes with a SIM card for either AT&T or Verizon. It has worked great. They certainly have broken the price barrier. I think I paid about $110. They have become so popular they are hard to get. Too early for final review, but to this point they are great. Right now, I highly recommend Tactacam Reveal. An annual unlimited picture plan is $120.
I have been through several other cell cameras. Not happy with any of them. Sporadic operation, broken battery compartment springs, poor night time picture quality, excessive battery use, water leakage.

Well.....amazon said it was gonna deliver the camera today. So, it wasn't here yet and I checked. They changed the arrival date to Oct 23rd. What??
I cancelled it and got the same at Bass Pro....and it was on sale.

I cancelled it and got the same at Bass Pro....and it was on sale. That has become a common issue. I have Amazon Prime. Supposed to get you two day delivery on most items. Recently, I have made some orders only to be advised by email a couple days later the product is on back order. Ticks me off. They should know when you place the order whether the item is available or not. :/

Well....I got the Moultrie today. I downloaded the app on my iPhone Xr and completed the first page of their account setup. FLASH......GONE!! App just closed down like it wasn't there. Tried two more times. Same result.
I went to the Moultrie web site.....clicked the "live chat" .....hit enter and FLASH.....GONE!!! That shut down my Safari browser as fast as electric can travel!!!
I then went to the Moultrie web site using Chrome and at least got a message thru.
However.....it's going back to Bass Pro. I checked the Moultrie web site "Blog" and found post stating Molutire's support has gone south for the season. Apparently they respond to no one.
Gonna try and find a Tactacam Reveal as Glenn stated. If Molutrie can't get the app right....and support has went to the Bahama's, what do you think the chances of my credit card info being safe is? I'm thinking Slim to None......and Slim just left.
FWIW

I got mine from Scheel's. If you really want one you'll have to keep checking multiple places for them. I'm happy with mine so far, very easy to use and so far my app hasn't disappeared

What part of the country are these guys from? I see it's an employee owned company. They must have done an ESOP buyout of the original founders. If they follow the ESOP tax rules there are excellent tax advantages to the seller.
