TOO MUCH HUNTING PRESSURE By: Wile E. Coyote February 11, 2013 To all you humans who are complaining about too much hunting pressure where you go to pursue four footed food, you don’t know how good you have it. Yinz humans outnumber us canines by a wide margin, and you tramp all over our hunting grounds, leave your trash, and generally make it tough on us most of the year. The only time you actually benefit us is during that two weeks in Fall when you leave lots of gutpiles which we love to see. Easy pickings is what that is, if you don’t have to fight off a bear for it. We of the coyote persuasion dread the coming of the human hunting season. One of you is in sight no matter where we go. Why we can’t even get together for one of our songfests without some human trying to shoot us. They are our deer too. Let’s face it. If you don’t kill a deer you get to go to some store and buy your dinner. We don’t have such stores, and if we did, we have no money anyway.

Hunt mice then. Less competition.
