Per avatar. I watched an interview with Sam Elliott a few years back. He was shaved clean. If anybody would say they knew it was Sam prior to him taking, I'd call them a fibber. Hell, I still wasn't sure it was him after he started talking.

Potter County will always hold down a special place in my heart. Way back in 1954, I went to a camp outside of Cross Fork along Windfall Hollow Road at the base of the Big Bench Trail. I was 12 years old at the time, and it made such an impression on me that I just had to have a camp of my own someday. That day did come, but the camps I have had did not end up in Potter County. Still, I do have memories of that camp. Sometimes I wonder if that camp still exists. The old guys who owned it are long gone.

The wife and I usually make Potter county trip in October to see the leaves, then out route 6, nice country. Howdy

A buddy and I spent a week in the Galeton Hotel in July of '61.One foggy evening driving back from Potato City there were deer all over rte 6.Then we left for Navy boot camp.Haven't been back since.Its nice country.
