How did a deer from Wisconsin get on to a farm in Lancaster County? Did it walk? The obvious point is that without these deer farms the spread of CWD could have been contained. It is my hope that this particular deer farm has to euthanize all of its deer and discontinue business, and that no meat or animal of any kind raised on that land be sold or traded.

Other way around. Deer from PA wound up in WI. Thinking someone pulled a fast one getting it there?

I would bet that Pennsylvania deer and Wisconsin deer have crossed paths on the highway numerous times. As in"I've got this 14 pointer I'll trade for a couple thousand dollars and three young does."

Didn't some PA deer end up in Mississippi a while ago? Illegally.
