Hate to have to say this but Jack is no longer with us. R.I.P. Jack, You were a great pup and to young of a dog to leave us. Just saw this now. I had a beagle get hit by a car and know how this feels. Sorry to here!

I hope to have some good photos of my current setter, Mugs, someday soon, but here are a few from the past: Rebel, one of the best natural retrievers I ever had. This photo was taken in the 1960s in a huge soil bank field where it was easily possible to flush 50 or so pheasants in a day. Lady pointing with Rebel backing.

So Tcaddis, you finally found some woodcock? Not many, but enough for the dogs to get on my nerves at times. This was Hazel's finest point of the spring season. Should look a little familiar. The pine trunks in the back ground are where we park to hunt that orchard. Now the long wait till July to see how the broods faired.
