Nice fur!! Nice mount as well. But....I didn't know that coyotes could do ballerina moves like that on just their front paws? Must take years of training for that. smileys-whistling-823718

It's a skimmers mount. Displayed as it would look in your shed prior to skinning. It actually a quite popular mount.

Taxidermy by definition is the mounting of animal skins to appear life like and life like to me means as they appeared in life.

Maybe he was skinned alive! That's cool, it's your opinion. Your in the minority though. Everyone I've talked to loves it! Just wondering? Would you find a rug disrespectful?

I'm not big on most taxidermy, but in the right setting some of it looks good. That style of mount might look good in a trapping supply business.

OTOH, I would not put this in my home because of how it's mounted. I would "prefer" a standing mount. But again.....MHO. Then again, if the owner of this mount has a room that this "fits" into, then it may look great.

I like it!! Neat mount plus looks like a darn nice size yote!! My dad was a taxi & he did some nonconventional position mounts which always drew a lot of conversation... all positive(only hunter types viewing). Of course....antis don't wunt anything stuffed no matter whut pose! lol Heck all ya gotta do is cut the yotes leg loose and you have one in a full run position!!

looks cool and all that matters is how the actual hunter feels about it.I refuse to be offended at how people define or display trophies.
