Very well done, you brought em back from the junk pile. Herter's always made a good decoy and those foam decoys can handle stray pellets. Flocked heads will make them better than new!

Yup....you did some fine work on those. And the price was right too!! I hope your labor pays off with a lot of shooting and meat hitting the water!! BTW, and FWIW, I opened up a pic posting on imgur.com This site is easy to use and posting to this forum is as easy as falling off a log. Free to sign up and uploading pic's was fast and easy.

just did with spraypaint. the rustolium camo from wall mart. painted the breast tan then the main body brown. on the 1st ones i did i spray painted the white on the butts but on the next dozen i did i hand painted with oil based flat white. i also painted the tail and white wing line with oil based. i have a feeling the spray paint wolnt last the season considering it comes of at rubbing points when the decoys touch already. i will use them this season as is but will probably redo them with all oil based for next season. I even clear coated the 1st few but it didnt seem to make a difference.

Turned out real nice!!
I know a lot of locals in Chincoteague, VA are into carving/painting decoys. Always enjoy visiting their lil shops or seeing their work displayed at various places. Its amazing some of the fine talent out there!!

Clear coating will make them more durable and less prone to chip while being carried. Nice work!
