Some years back, I had a horrible anal case. Cleared it up with Perpetrator H and......Oh wait, just reread the title. Scratch that (no pun intended).

I use a rechargeable hand held cordless screwdriver. Like their Model # BDCS20C. (Google it) Then using a Lee shell holder that has a hex drive (they fit right in 'em) I hold the brass neck right on the blue tip of the flame for 5 seconds. No more than 5 seconds. It does a perfect job. No drop in water is necessary. But be careful removing from the shell holder. That brass is HOT!!!

You can do it with a candle. I've never bothered with it.

Well, I will tell you that in the 6.5 x 55, a Winchester case will last at most, 3 shots no matter if it's annealed or not. A Lapua case will last 15 shots. Lapua cost about .80 a piece. When Winchester use to make it, the cost was less than half. But you do the math when it comes to the final amount of rounds you get to shoot.
