On Friday the 9th i drove from Lewisburg to Waterstreet on Rt.45. This Rt. goes thru a rural area of Pa. I seen not one road killed rabbit or pheasant ! Where are these or what is happening to them ?

Since Fishers were introduced ...roadkill is a thing of the past laying around ....even the crows are getting boned on tid-bits laying around.

Plenty of road kill small game around here. Along the main roads, most of it quickly gets hammered into little more than road stains by the volume of traffic.
Numerous road kills along the road up to our sportsmen's club, all of it in the woods at the base of a mountain. Squirrels, possums, woodchucks, bunnies and coons. Little traffic, lots of crows and buzzards.
As for rabbits, been years since I've seen so many up near camp. No shortage of winged and furry predators, now we have a huge supply of bunnies, too.

Ditch chickens are easy fodder for anything that is a wild predator. Coyote, fox, Owl, etc.
