Yep. A group of us helped a legally blind person go hunting several years ago. We also sponsored a hunt for a youngster with no arms and legs.

Western Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors These guys are great. They have NO affiliation with the CON ARTIST of the national organization. Check out the pics of what they do. If you go to youtube, and search for their rabbit hunts......I guarantee you will LOL!!! And yes, I have donated to them. These wheelchair guys have shot bucks that I only dream of!!!!

Blind hunters? Are there special regs they must follow? If so, where can we find them and read them for ourselves-are they available in Braille?

The Games News had an article years ago about a Blind hunters organization starting up in PA. Seemed implausible until it mentioned that some had sufficient vision to see for hunting but not for things like driving and were still legally blind.
Many years ago, I knew a Maryland Goose Guide who operated out of Chestertown MAryland. He got a prank call one time, asking to book a hunt for two blind hunters, the caller explained that the blind hunters will arrive by plane and could he pick them up at the air port. The caller also told the hunting guide that if he oriented the hunters and shouted out the direction and how high, that the hunters were quite good at shooting with those directions that one hunter was the National Collegiate Blind skeet shooting champion and was quite adept at shooting with good directions of where the birds are. When the guide questioned the caller, the caller first pleaded with him that all the other guides had said no, and then the caller started getting threatening about discrimination against the disabled, etc. When the guide finally said yes and took names and asked for the date of the hunt, the caller asked if the guide would be available April 1st. The caller was one of my hunting buddies and we were in the bar at Buzzy's in Chestertown watching the guides face and listening to him on the phone at the other end of the room.
