I, along with my lovely wife, have been pursuing the "perfect picture" of the Davisland Farms Snowy Owl for 3 weeks off and on. A couple of days ago I came home with no pictures due to just plain not spotting the owl. There was a brief spot of sunshine and our local feathered friends flocked to the feeders in droves. Got to snap a few close-ups and was reminded that I have some great opportunities right at my kitchen window. Oh yeah, the last picture was a surprise to see him looking out at me:

Some mitey fine pics there Bowbum!! Thanks Loggy. I'm enjoying the photography more each day. Don't know why it took me so long to get interested, and I am very surprised more guys on here aren't in to it. It really is great training for hunting skills. Not to mention it is cheaper than it's ever been with no film purchasing and developing required. A really great point and shoot camera like I use is probably less costs than a good rifle and scope. "AND" you can hunt of Sundays with no bag limit and no species-specific tag or closed season.
