Unfortunately, no photos. Camera batteries were dead. Mugs ran like a field trial dog for the first ten minutes and then settled down. We got all eight chukars which I cleaned and made chukar rice soup out of. We do it again tomorrow. There is no better way to spend a morning than with a good bird dog and a shotgun. Ms. Doris also had a great time observing. Richard does put out good flying birds for sure.

Nothing like hunting over a good dog. It's better than a good book, or a good movie.

For those who do not know, this is the outfit I do my bird hunting with. www.royalunitedgb.comRichard has really good flying birds that put those ditch chickens to shame. The grounds are planted in warm season grasses so the walking is not all that rough. It is good cover for birds and very huntable for Mugs. He loves it. We will do some pheasant hunting on the gamelands in Somerset County in November too.

Yes, they sure do, Denny. Especially to the good dogs. Mugs's morning hunt photos from today. Mugs, his hunting buddy, and some birds. Someone left us a pheasant. Ms. Doris had a great time too.
