dates wrong photo's from last week. We never had a lot of bear in the area but it seems like their population is going up.

I read this all the time but "knock on wood" never had a bear disturb mine. I wonder whut attracts then to some...scent? With their poor eye sight that would be my guess.

Kiss it goodbye.I have terrible luck with cameras. Most work well for a while and then malfunction.I send them back, they send me a knew one and inevitably,a bear trashes it.Unfortunately, that's not covered under warranty.I just had one die on me this past week so I'm down to one. When it goes,I think I'm done with cameras.

Loggy,it's scent.I've had them get eaten within an hour of putting them up.

Well, why not rub something on the camera that would turn the bears off... instead of apparently on ? Perhaps your well-worn edible undies ?

Someone suggested red pepper, cayenne pepper, etc.
