the stream is about 150 feet from the house and about 70 feet below.

Never saw any trout over 5 or 6 inches. For the most part the stream is only ankle deep and about 12 feet across. Just to the left off the picture, there are a few "holes" where the stream flows around rocks and stumps. There are a few pockets that are two or three feet deep at those spots. About a half mile down stream there are some low "falls" where the water level drops a few feet over a length of about 20 feet. Below that the water is deeper and has larger trout. Right now the stream is very clean and clear. twenty five years ago, a farmer up stream, let his cattle into the stream on his property and the stream was full of green slime and some times even floating manure. It is so much better now.
