Fall colors around here are spotty at best. The trees in these parts have been dropping their leaves since early September and many have been bare or nearly bare for a couple weeks now.

I drove past there on the 12th of October, on the way to camp and back down Rt.6 on the way home, on the 15th. Best part of that stretch this time: No leaf peepers goin' 35 MPH in a 55 zone. Although I did get behind a Smart Car going up the hill on 362 out of Ansonia. She finally pulled over and let me go by - at 30 MPH. Smart Cars should stay in the city where they belong.
