A poor pic but was surprised to see a family of 5 otters while fishing the Raystown Branch of the Juniata river in Bedford Co. last week. Was able to get a pic of 4 of them in one pic. This was the first time I've ever seen otters in the wild. Neat to see but could be part of the reason that the fishing has been declining for the last several years .

My oldest son and I saw one while fishing the Allegheny river in forest county in 2001. We got to watch it up close for several minutes. It is the only otter either of us have ever seen. I love trout fishing, but I'm glad otters are coming back.
That's a cool photo, Thanks for posting it.

Once in a while we see them on Pine Creek in Tioga County. One of the original release sites.
