Well, I knew the ringneck was a stocked commie red from China. At this point it's highly likely every ringneck has a microchip capable of tracking at least 100 good red-blooded A'merican's and sending their every conversation to those Chinese commie red's overseas. Oh....and to O'bama as well. That's why I always put tin foil in all my hats. Yeah......that's why......

Dave, pheasants were old school, when Americans had a bit of wisdom, now we all carry Chinese made cell phones that allow both the commie bastids in China and at the White house monitor all of our business.

I dunno Jim. I thing the "new and improved" version of the ringneck is right on par with the cell phones. Back in the day the pheasant's did not have ankle bands. But then, there wasn't crack and cheap heroine then either. I guess those ankle bands keep 'em from flying out of state? Getting sucked into a MS pipeline? Voting twice for Hillary? So many things to think of today........

What about the mute swans from England? The article discusses them as well. Animal rights organizations initiated a fight in PA a few years ago that cost the PGC , therefore used your hunting license revenue, a pretty little sum of cash... Ultimately PA and the Feds won, its in the article, like rague "its in there"...

Mugs does not care, even a little bit, whether ringnecks are an invasive species or not. He says they are fun to hunt, and when I am having a good shooting day, he even likes to retrieve them. He likes chukars, quail, grouse, and woodcock too. Life is great when you are an English setter and have a guy who takes you hunting.
