Back from Cape May after the better part of the week there with 33 of the family. Did a bit of brown shark fishing off the beach. Thanks to my boy doing his homework we were into them. Nothing real big but a blast to fight. One more - We caught close to ten or so Muab (Who now needs to get back into the mountains)

The last time I was in Cape May, the beaches were mostly pebbles. I notice that you are on sand. Has this changed?

There's a lot of washed up pebbles where we were fishing Muttley, but mostly sand, I guess for us tourists. Where we stayed and the family did their beach time along Beach Dr. it was nothing but sand...even at low tide. I think what they did was trucked a lot of sand in to cover the beaches after the winter storms. If you haven't been there for a while Muttley you and the Mrs. ought to go for a couple of days. It's a nice place for old folk (like you and me) and the kiddies.

I'm sure the Federal Government paid millions to provide sand for Muab to walk on.

I'm glad you fellows weren't sipping brewskies and trying to "lip" those critters. Those things are fun to catch and can give you a run for yer money!

Saved the adult beverages for the afternoon and evening acorn. My boy did the "lipping", I was on the pliers. They're nothing but raw power in and out of the water. I got tail slapped on the leg and it left a red mark for a couple of days. They can sure take the line out on a run! I'll take shark fishing any day over flounder or blues. Muab
