91 flushes. How many shots fired and how many birds brought down? Thats a lot of flushes. Congrats on having great dogs and the habitat to use them in. Must have been a thrill to flush so many!

91 includes the week we were on vacation(non hunting) and we had 40 some flushes that week. I bagged 4 grouse and 2 woodcock on a total of 11 shots, and the girls had a total of 11 birds shot over them. Lots of misses by others. Our 1100 acre lease is about 1/2 clearcuts in all ages of reverting forest. It truly is a grouse mecca where we hunt. This also includes some public and private land near our lease. The woodcock were here for 2 days and then they were gone. I dont have great dogs, they are just good dogs. They have there faults just like me!! We did have to make one trip to the Vet in Wellsville. My setter Kacie got a dose of Pollen or something in her eyes and they swelled up and started to go shut on her. A shot of "Depo" and some salve to put in her eyes and she was cleared up the next day.
