The other day, a friend of my brother's used a woodcock "peent" call on his smartphone to call woodcock the other night. As soon as he held it out the window, in a good spot, 6 woodcock responded!
My brother did the same thing the other night, and 4 woodcock responded.
I guess there is a woodcock call on I Tunes.
Try it, might work for those out scouting for timberdoodles this spring.
