I've caught 2 of those myself in the past. This was the kid's first. We lost a 600 pound blue marlin later in the morning. It hit, the one guy was in the chair with it for 5 minutes when it jumped and did a tail walk while shaking it's head. Dude was watching the fish instead of trying to keep the line tight. The line bowed with slack and the fish spit the hook.
