Still using my T/C Hawkin's but going to get a new inline.. Narrowed it down to either a T/C Triumph or a CVA Accura M/R... I like the T/C's feature's except for the fact that the spur on the hammer look's small. Put a scope over it and it's even going to be smaller.. The CVA is supposed to be a great inline, but 2 thing's are negative factor's... First the fluted barrel.. Not a fan of them.. Look's or functionality... A gimmick... How much weight does it remove?? A pound max?? Aid's in cooling?? How many time's you going to shoot?? Make's the barrel more rigid?? Some test's say not really... Last an ambidextrous stock.. Who want's a stock with a cheek piece on both side's??
Ok... Sound's like an easy decision.. Right?? So.. Opinion's please.... Thank's

Rich...as we discussed on the phone the other day i owned several CVA inlines including the Firebolt(plunger style) and the Optima Pro. The Spanish made Bergara barrels are fine and very accurate. I went with the TC Pro Hunter when they were first released & have been with it ever since. The fluted bbl shaves a lil weight plus helps with heat dispersion if shooting a lot of shots. IMO...it more for looks vs functional. I really like the TC ProHunters FlexTech stock which softens recoil. The speed Breech plug needs a tool to remove but its a piece of cake. The innovative 3 gas compression rings provides the tightest fit breechplug system ive ever seen with minimal blowback. IMO the TC is much more gun of course will be a few more hundred bucks. The Speed Breech™ is a quick release breech plug (patent-pending) that can be removed by rotating it only 90 degrees. No longer do you have to struggle with seized breech plugs or the time-consuming chore of making eleven rotations to remove your breech plug. Three gas compression rings on the face of the breech plug eliminates 95% of harmful blowback. “Speed Breech™…90° and outRecoil reduction technology that features a soft touch comb that takes the bite out of muzzle rise, while the smooth surface finish allows the cheek to slide forward during firing. Over molded finger grooves in the stock and rubber grill pads in the forend give you firm control of the rifle in both wet and dry conditions. Sing swivel studs are molded into the stock and forend to eliminate the possibility of pulling out. T/C’s FlexTech® system is just one of the many advancements given to the new Pro Hunter™.
