We have a few Ameristep Backstraps. Work pretty well. Glad we have them. Getting in can be a challenge tho.
Plenty large for one person, a little tight for 2, but doable. Taking a youth this weekend, and not a huge problem with 2 of us in there.

I've got an Ameristep Doghouse. It's been out for weeks at a time in some bad weather. They say it's a two seater but nah. It's held up well and I think it was $70. Had it for at least 5 years.
The trick is to know how to fold it up... Want to see a ridiculous dance?

I have a couple that are either an Ameristep Doghouse or something that is very similar. THey are small for 2 but work ok for 1 adult and 1 kids. I have a Barronett blind that is really big, but the issue with it is the windows are too high. The best blind I have is this one although it is portable with only a tractor. I plan on building at least 1 more this year like it. I also have another permanent blind made of lumber.

The hubs we have are nice, unless a bear takes a liking to them.

I have an older Ameristep Doghouse that im waiting for it to finally retire so my new Lucky Blind can be put in service. Old dogs never seem to quit!
I am impressed with the quality of the Lucky Blind:

The one on the video I betcha got worn springs.I opened one out of the box once and it literley exploded when it opened. There was so much tension and force on the springs it was a real bugger and took a while to compress and fold up.It went back the next day.

I would go crazy if I had to look out a small window all day.

I would go crazy if I had to look out a small window all day. I agree to a point, but I have a couple of spots that I can't hunt with a treestand since there are no suitable trees. If there is a suitable tree, I would rather put a treestand. It is also nice on a windy and/or rainy night to sit in a cozy blind. During the rut I seldom hunt a blind as I don't like to be restricted in movement since most bucks you see are moving and you need to adjust for a quick shot. They have their place, but I wouldn't go exclusively to them unless my health dictated that I must.

I'm liking blinds just due to the safety issues with treestands. When I wear a harness, there are shots I can't take. Crossbows suck in treestands. I have spots inside clearcuts, where the only way to hunt is from the ground. That all said, I DO like the view from stands, just not liking the gravity issues.

I can see your point if the weather is bad but otherwise,I couldn't see myself enjoying the hunt being cooped up but that's just me.I find few things as relaxing as sitting in a comfortable treestand just watching everything around me and soaking it all in.It's something I just need. I sat in a small box blind about 5 years ago on the first day of deer season.I went up to my buddy's place in Susquehanna county to hunt and hang out with my old college room mates. They hunt strictly out of these small blinds about the size of an outhouse. It was pouring down rain so I sat with my one buddy to stay out of the rain.Between his constant texting, farting and Chineese water tourture,I had all could take after about an hour.I figured it would be better to just drown so I left and found a pine tree to sit under..

Just figured out that in the last 4 years between the kids and I (archery only) have taken 12 deer in treestands and 14 deer in blinds. Out of 12 buck though we have only taken 3 out of blinds. Most of our blinds are setup along a field edge which is probably part of the reason.

I have a blind that I put up every archery season, but rarely use it. This year I spent two hours in it and that's it. I do like it on cold rainy days and that's about it. Even when I hunt on the ground I would rather be in sitting in thick cover rather than a blind. The squirrels seem to enjoy it though. When I took it down Sunday there were lots of acorn shells on my seat.
